Millennium basin & sink mixers are supplied with rubber washer seals for the base that, in most cases, prevent excess water leaking into cabinets below. Hence, silicone sealant, which can affect some colour finishes, should not be applied to the base of mixer. There are exceptions to this rule: when a sink or basin mixer is fitted to a non-machined and uneven surface on a counter top, basin or sink that is obviously bumpy or rutted, then silicone must be applied to seal the base of the mixer to prevent water leaking into cabinetry. Warranty does not cover damage to cabinets caused by excess water leaking through the base of a mixer fitted to an uneven surface and not sealed.
When lodging a Millennium warranty claim, proof of purchase in the form of the original invoice/receipt is required prior to service work being commenced.
5. General Notes: WELS or Water Efficiency Labelling scheme is a compulsory federally legislated water saving program for tapware and other devices that use water. Under this legislation most mixers and tapware are fitted with flow controlling valves that reduce water use. In areas with high water pressure some flow controlled mixers or tapware will emit more noise than older tapware that is not flow controlled.
Excess noise emitted by flow controlled mixers or tapware in high pressure areas is not a product fault and not covered by warranty.
Scratches and marks caused by rings, fingernails, toothbrushes or various container used in bathrooms re not covered by warranty.
Storing bleach and cleaning products, laden with corrosive chemicals, in bathroom or kitchen cabinets in close proximity to mixer can lead to major flooding. Corrosive vapours leech from containers and over time can cause degradation in the stainless steel casing on the flexible connectors that connect mixers to the water supply. Water damage caused by corrosive chemical vapours which damage flexible connectors is not covered y warranty. Note that laundry and dishwasher power and liquid detergent do not emit corrosive vapours and can be safely stored near tapware.
When installing bathroom accessories and showers always use the product as your template prior to drilling holes. Measurement give in current drawing are subject to change without notice.
Water Supply: Bore water, creek water & other non town water supplies could potentially cause problems with supply and function of our products. The use of instantaneous gas hot water systems may also cause flow and mixing issues, and not covered by warranty.
Cleaning – Mixers | Showers | Accessories | Ceramic Basins
