Keep Your Millennium Tapware Looking Its Best
Millennium Tapware products are manufactured to the highest standards and designed to provide years of reliable performance. Regular cleaning and proper care will help preserve the appearance and surface of your tapware and accessories.
Routine Cleaning
- Wipe the surface with a soft microfibre cloth.
- Clean using warm water and a mild liquid soap if required.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Dry immediately with soft cloth to prevent water spotting and mineral build-up.
Regular cleaning is particularly important in coastal areas or locations with hard water.
Products to Avoid
- Abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Steel wool or abrasive sponges.
- Cleaning cloths with added chemicals.
- Bleach-based products.
- Ammonia-based cleaners.
- Acidic or alkaline cleaning products.
- Citrus-based cleaners.
- Solvents or harsh chemicals.
- Metal scrapers or sharp tools.
Important Cleaning Advice
- Do not spray cleaning products directly onto tapware.
- Apply cleaners to cloth first, then carefully clean surrounding surfaces.
- Immediately rinse any accidental overspray from the tapware with clean water. Especially important in showers when cleaning tiles with spray cleaners.
- Dry thoroughly after rinsing.
Leaving cleaning chemicals on the surface, even for a brief period, can cause permanent damage.
Special Care for Decorative Finishes
Decorative finishes such as Brushed Nickel, Modern Brass, Gun Metal, Matte Black, Rosa and other PVD or specialty finishes require extra care. Only use warm water, mild soap, and soft cloth.
Hard Water and Mineral Deposits
In areas with hard water, mineral deposits may develop over time.
- Wipe tapware dry after use where practical.
- Clean regularly with warm water and mild soap.
- Avoid allowing water to remain on the surface for extended periods.
Do not use aggressive descaling products or acidic cleaners.
Freestanding, Wall Faced & Corner Bathtubs.
All cleaning requirements mentioned above also apply to our range of Millennium bathtubs. In addition to this, when using colored additives to your bath, ensure any products are added to a bath already filled to the desired water level. Adding colored bath products to an empty bath and not rinsing thoroughly afterwards will result in staining of the base.
Colored stains on baths are not covered under our warranty.
Warranty Considerations
Damage caused by incorrect cleaning methods, harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning products, or failure to maintain the product is not considered a manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered under warranty.
Damage may also occur through everyday use or contact with common household items. In kitchens, this includes cutlery, pots, and pans. In bathrooms, tapware, pop-up waste, showers, and accessories may be damaged by contact with shaving products, jewelry, and other bathroom items.
This is not considered a warranty issue.
Warranty on all Millennium products & finishes relates to any inconsistencies and/or faults in the production process. We strongly recommend all products are inspected for any marks or damage prior to installation by your licensed installer. Installing a product with any fault could hamper a warranty claim.
