Cleaning Guide for Millennium Bathroomware Products
To ensure the finish of your Millennium products is kept in excellent condition for years to come, we recommend the following procedures.
GENERAL CLEANING TIP: For all Millennium products & finishes, never clean using chemical or citrus based products, abrasive cleaning pastes or powders, vinegar, ammonia, bleach or ‘environmentally friendly’ cleaners, as many of these contain sodium & acidic ingredients. The use of scourers is also not recommended and has the potential to damage all finishes.
CHROME PLATED PRODUCTS: Where products remain dry, regularly wipe with soft cotton cloth. This will easily remove surface dust. For a more thorough clean use a soft cotton or microfibre cloth dipped in warm water and finished with a dry cloth to remove water residue. The use of a mild soap solution (mild dishwashing liquid) is acceptable, but always rinse the products well and dry afterwards.
COLOURED FINISH PRODUCTS (Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Modern Brass, Gun Metal & Brushed Copper):
Millennium coloured finish products are plated using either Electroplating or PVD (Physical Vapor Depostion) which are the best finishes currently available. However, the use of harsh chemical cleaners will still damage the finish.

No cleaning products of any description should be used on these finishes. The finish is easily maintained with the use of soft cloths, warm water, and limited use of mild soap detergents.
NOTES:
The key to maintaining the beauty & lustre of your Millennium products is to follow basic steps.
Regular cleaning or wipe down.
Wipe soap residue, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioners & other products off after use. These products can contain caustic ingredients which will damage the finish.
If you employ professionals to clean your home, ensure they are aware to adhere to the above cleaning regime.
Please follow these instructions carefully. Correctly cleaning and maintaining your tapware will ensure a lifetime of use. However, using the incorrect technique or products may cause premature corrosion, damaging your tapware and voiding your warranty.
